    DimitriwalkedwithWhiteFairytothecourtyardbeforethetemple.Eaglesflewdowlingonroofsandwalls.Serpentscrawledfromthegrassawihemselvesaroundthepilrsofthetemple.Frogsleaptfrompondsandfishesswamtothesurfaceofthewater.Allkindsofbirdsflewdownaledonroofsandwallswiththenowdocileeagles.Sheep,rabbitsanddeercameintothecourtyard.Bears,wolvesandtigersbecamegentle.Predatorsstoodpeacefullytogetherwiththeirprey.DimitrisatdownamidthenumerousdisciplesofWhiteFairyandlisteoher.Hersermonwasasgeableastheillusive,multi-coloredclouds.Herfshingeyesreflectedherwisdom.

    "Survivalofthefittestisanaturalw,”shesaid,"butitisnottheabsolutetruth.Inhumans,therearethingsthatgoagainstthenaturalw.Oed,itispassion-thepurestandmostsublimefeeling.Ihopeyoutoowillpractipassionandnotbullytheweak.Donottakejoyinkilling,evenifitisforfood.Begoodtoyourownkindandtoothersaswell.Iwillweleyouwheninyourlifeyoubeehumans.Thenyouthere,andthroughprayerandgooddeeds,buildabetterfuture.”

    Dimitriwasmovedandsatthereimmersedinthought,oblivioustothefactthatthebirdsandanimalsaroundhimhaddisappeared.WhiteFairyandhermonkeyscametowardshimandshesaid,

    "ThankyouWhiteFairy,”saidDimitri,gratefullytakingtheonsfromherhand."Hopetoseeyousoon.”Hebowedrespectfullyaonhisway,buthecouldurninghisheadtolookbackatthegracefulfigureofWhiteFairy,standinginthemidstofhermonkeys,herwhitehairflowingandrufflingintheeveningbreeze.Soonnightfelndhecouldnolongerseethetempleoritsmysteriousaherealmistress.
